How To Sell Your BA Flight Voucher?

 

You’ll need the eVoucher number as well as the last name and email address associated with the voucher. You can find these details in your eVoucher email you received from British Airways.
 

Here are the steps to sell your British Airways flight voucher:

1. List your voucher on SpareFare by completing the listing form for vouchers found here. 
2. After your voucher listing is complete, you will begin to receive bids on your voucher. 
3. Once you accept a bid on your voucher, you will submit the voucher details for the buyer. 
4. You will be paid in 10 working days after the transfer of the voucher to the buyer. 

And that’s it!  You will make approximately 70% - 85% of the voucher value back and help someone else get a great deal on their BA flight.
 

Is British Airways Voucher Transferable?

 

The registered holders of BA vouchers don’t need to travel on bookings made using their voucher. Someone else can use your BA e Voucher. Note that bookings made with a third party must be four days or more before the departure date for security reasons.
 

You do not need to change the name on your voucher to the new passenger’s name.  Third party passengers will simply input the original voucher credentials at the checkout page for the ticket purchase.
 

If the full value of the voucher is not used on a booking, BA will simply send a new eVoucher for the difference to the email of the buyer’s choice.


 

Can I Exchange A British Airways Voucher For Cash?

 

No, once you have accepted a voucher as compensation, British Airways will not convert it to a cash refund.  That is why using SpareFare as an alternative channel to get money back instead of an unused flight voucher going to waste is a sustainable option.
 

How Long Are BA Vouchers Valid For?

 

British Airways eVouchers are generally valid for one year from the issuance date.  However, COVID flight vouchers are valid for travel until September 30, 2025.
 

On the upside, for anyone who cannot complete their travels by the expiration date, British Airways eVouchers are fully transferable. If you don’t think you will be able to use it before 30th September 2025, you can always sell it on the SpareFare marketplace.
 

Be sure to check the expiration date on your flight voucher.  The longer the time until the expiration date, the better chance there is of a successful deal!
 

What Is The Balance Of My British Airways Voucher?

 

If you are unsure if you have a voucher to use or what the remaining balance is, you can check it out on the BA website with their voucher tool.
 

Note that any newly issued vouchers within the last 24 hours may not be included. If you do not receive an email, try checking back the following day, or contacting the British Airways customer service.
 

Lastly, you can also find the balance of your British Airways vouchers on the confirmation email that was originally sent to you.  Be sure to check your spam or promotions folder if you do not see them!
 

Can I Combine More Than One British Airways Voucher?

Yes, you can combine up to 4 vouchers on a flight purchase as long as they are in the same currency.  Also note that vouchers issued by the Customer Relations team cannot be combined with any voucher. 

Simply enter the voucher number, last name, and email after you select your flight.  There you will be able to enter all the vouchers you want to use.
