3. Once you accept a bid on your voucher, you will submit the voucher details for the buyer.
4. You will be paid in 10 working days after the transfer of the voucher to the buyer.

Are El Al Vouchers Transferable?

Yes, El Al credit vouchers are transferable to anyone with the consent of the original owner as the vouchers are not personalized.
 

There is no need to change the name to the new recipient of the El Al voucher. Additionally, the original registered holder of the voucher doesn't need to be a traveler on new bookings made using their voucher.



 

To use the voucher, you simply fill in the voucher credentials (voucher number, customer name on the voucher, and expiration date) on the checkout page of the El Al website for the ticket purchase.
 

If the full value of the voucher is not used on a booking, the balance will remain on the same voucher until it is completely depleted.
 

Can I Exchange An El Al Voucher For Cash?

No, your El AL credit voucher cannot be exchanged for a cash refund after it has been issued.

If you do not completely redeem the flight voucher by the expiration date, the remaining amount of the credit voucher cannot be converted into a cash refund, except in cases where a conversion may be allowed for your specific booking.
 

What Is The Balance Of My El AL Voucher?

If you are unsure what the remaining balance is, or if you have a voucher to use in general, you can check it out on the El AL website with their voucher management tool.

You will need to enter the last 6 digits of the voucher code and the first and last name associated with the voucher to see the balance. If you received an email from El Al with only six digits of the voucher, this is where you will enter those six digits to obtain the full voucher number.

Keep in mind that newly issued vouchers may not be included for up to 24 hours. If you haven't received an email, try checking back after one business day, or contacting EL Al customer service.

Lastly, you can also find the original balance of your vouchers on the confirmation email that was sent to you.  Make sure to check your promotion or spam folder if you do not see them!
 

How Long El Al Vouchers Valid For?

El Al credit vouchers are valid for one year from the date that the credit voucher was issued or the expiration date that is explicitly stated on the voucher.

The good news is that anyone who cannot complete their travels by the expiration date, El Al vouchers are fully transferable. If you don’t think you will be able to use it before the 12 months, you can always sell it on the SpareFare marketplace.

Be sure to confirm the expiration date on your specific flight voucher.  If you decide to list it on SpareFare, the longer the time until the expiration date, the better chance there is of a successful deal!
 

Does The Currency The Voucher Is In Matter?

The value of the voucher will be created in the currency in which you purchased the original ticket.

However, it is important to note that you can still purchase flights listed in any currency with the voucher as El Al will automatically convert the currency at the time of purchase.

The voucher can be used for multiple purchases for any flight and any destination up to the voucher's full amount.
