The name on the voucher does not need to be changed to the name of the new recipient. Additionally, the original voucher owner doesn't need to be a traveller on bookings made with the voucher. 

If the voucher was not issued by the Customer Service team, it may be necessary to log-in to the easyJet account of the original voucher holder so the voucher can be accessed from their “voucher wallet” at the checkout page.

• Flight vouchers can be used only for flights, including bags, seats, and upgrades. 
• Only one voucher can be used per booking online, but you can also call easyJet to use multiple vouchers.  Note that they charge £5 per person if you need to call them. 
• The currency on the voucher must match the currency of the flight booking.  You can adjust the currency used on the website in the top right corner. 

 

EasyJet Holiday Discount Codes

 

• Holiday discount codes can be used only for holiday packages.  They cannot be used for standalone flights.
• Only one voucher can be used at a time on the website, but you can call easyJet to use multiple vouchers. 
• The discount code can only be used once, and will not retain any residual value. 

 

What Is The Expiration Date?

EasyJet vouchers are valid for 12 months after the issue date. You can confirm the expiration date in the original email or by checking the easyJet voucher details webpage. 

Note that the vouchers have a book-by expiration date so you don't need to travel before expiration, you only need to book your flights. 

Make sure to confirm the expiration date of your flight voucher as they cannot be used afterwards.  If you decide to sell it on SpareFare, the more time until expiration, the better odds of a successful deal at a great price!
 

Can I Exchange An EasyJet Voucher For Cash?

Cash refunds for your easyJet flight voucher are not allowed after it has been issued, but they can be redeemed toward a future easyJet operated flight.  

If you cancel your flight within 24 hours of booking, you can receive a refund minus the £49 cancellation fee.  

In the event you can’t make your flight due to serious illness or family bereavement, you can submit a claim to EasyJet and they may issue you a voucher or refund at their sole discretion. 

Lastly, if you are not able to completely use the voucher before expiration, any remaining amount on the credit voucher cannot be converted into a cash refund. 
 

What Is The Balance Of My EasyJet Voucher?

You can check the remaining balance and expiration date of your easyJet voucher on the easyJet voucher details webpage. 

Keep in mind that travel vouchers may not show up in their system for up to 7 days. If you didn’t receive an email containing the voucher details, contact the easyJet customer service. 

Lastly, if you do not utilize all of the voucher’s value for a booking, the residual balance is retained on the voucher until it is depleted. 
 

How To Use The EasyJet Voucher

To use an easyJet voucher, you will search for the flight you want to book on the website or app. Then enter the voucher credentials (8 digit voucher number) on the checkout page of the easyJet for the ticket purchase. You will see a box that says “Add A Voucher”. 

Note that if you have a voucher beginning with CG or CX, you may only need to type the last 5 characters if you are having difficulty with the code. 

The amount of your voucher will be deducted from the booking total. If the value of your voucher is more than the flight, the remaining value will remain on the same voucher until the value is depleted.
