Discount Codes can be used by anyone as they only require an individual code in the checkout process, but they are different than traditional vouchers.
Discount Codes are valid for one use. They do not retain any value if your purchase is less than the value of the discount code.
They may have restrictions as to the different types of fare classes that can be used.
Important Note: Iberia vouchers are generally compatible with LEVEL, Vueling, British Airways, and Air Nostrum. This is a big advantage to allow for maximum flexibility on flight selection. Confirm with your voucher’s terms and conditions that this applies for your voucher.
Iberia flight vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issuance, which is non-extendable.
Note that Iberia vouchers have both a “book-by expiration” or a “last permitted travel date”. Make sure to check the type of expiration date for your specific voucher so you can get the most out of it!

No, cash refunds for your Iberia travel vouchers are not permitted after it has been issued, but they can be redeemed toward a future Iberia flight.
You can choose to “make your ticket flexible” at the checkout when you initially buy your flight, however, you will still get a voucher refund with this option. Iberia needs to be notified at least 15 days prior to the flight to be eligible for a refund.
If you cancel your flight within 24 hours of booking, you can get a refund minus any management fees or applicable taxes. If your flight is delayed by more than 5 hours or you are denied boarding, you may be entitled to a refund and compensation.
In the event you miss your flight due to serious illness or death of a passenger, you can submit a claim to Iberia and they may issue you a voucher refund at their sole discretion. The earlier you contact Iberia the better in these circumstances.
Lastly, if you are not able to completely use the voucher before expiration, any remaining amount on the credit voucher cannot be converted into a cash refund.
You can check the remaining balance and expiration date of your Iberia voucher on their voucher management webpage. You just have to enter the voucher code and email address to see all of the voucher specific information.
Keep in mind that travel vouchers may not show up in their system for up to 24 hours after they are issued. If you didn’t receive an email containing the voucher details by then, contact Iberia customer service.
