TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF WIZZ GIFT VOUCHER
If you have a WIZZ Gift Voucher, you can use it to book your flight ticket.
1. Definitions
Passenger: the person using Wizz Air's passenger transport services and whose name is given as passenger during the course of booking.
Customer: the Passenger or any other person who purchase the Wizz Gift Voucher.
2. Value of WIZZ Gift Vouchers
WIZZ Gift Vouchers are available in 25 Euro and 50 Euro denominations (or local currency equivalent).
3. Flights available to purchase with WIZZ Gift Vouchers
WIZZ Gift Vouchers can be used to purchase any scheduled flight operated by Wizz Air Hungary Ltd. ("WAH"). WIZZ Gift Vouchers can only be redeemed via wizzair.com.
4. Purchase and Redemption of WIZZ Gift Vouchers
4.1. Up to 5 (five) WIZZ Gift Vouchers may be purchased in 1 (one) transaction and up to 4 (four) WIZZ Gift Vouchers may be redeemed per booking.
4.2. During the course of purchasing a Wizz Gift Voucher, the Customer shall not provide the names of the Passenger(s). WIZZ Gift Vouchers are not associated with a specific Passenger.
4.3. The administration fee is not applicable for the purchase of WIZZ Gift Vouchers. Payments made with Gift Vouchers are however subject to an administration fee, payable at the time of booking. Further information on the fees associated with the booking are available at wizzair.com under Services and Fees. The exact amount of the administration fees is available on the online booking interface.
4.4. WIZZ Gift Vouchers are valid towards the cost of Wizz Air flights (including taxes, and not avoidable fees and charges) and additional services being purchased together with the booked flight (at or after the original booking) and which are available during the course of the booking process (such as: infant fee, priority boarding, extra legroom, baggage fees).
4.5. Wizz Gift Voucher cannot be used to purchase services that are not present in the booking process (including but not limited to airport parking and hotels). Bookings containing a Car Rental cannot be paid with Gift Vouchers.
4.6. If the value of the Wizz Gift Voucher does not cover the full value of the flight and added services (if any), additional payment shall be made by bank card only. Bank transfer payment and WIZZ account payment is not accepted for payment together with Wizz Gift Voucher.
4.7. It is possible to use a Wizz Gift Voucher for booking in a currency that is different from the one specified on the Wizz Gift Voucher. Price of the flight tickets and selected services will be converted to the currency chosen for payment via the booking process at the exchange rate used by Wizz Air at the time of the booking.
5. Validity of WIZZ Gift Vouchers
5.1 WIZZ Gift Vouchers must be redeemed within 12 (twelve) months from the date of purchase. Travel must be completed within 12 months from purchase of the voucher – after this time the voucher becomes void. The validity of the WIZZ Gift Vouchers cannot be extended. WIZZ Gift Vouchers cannot be refunded, or changed into WIZZ account credit.
5.2 If a WIZZ Gift Voucher is not redeemed in full at the time of booking, the left over balance is non- refundable. The value of unused WIZZ Gift Vouchers and unused tickets paid (wholly or in part) with Wizz Gift Voucher are non-refundable.
6. Miscellaneous
6.1. Except as specified in the present Agreement, the services purchased from Wizz Air by using the WIZZ Gift Voucher shall be subject to the General Conditions of Carriage of Wizz Air.
6.2. Wizz Air expressly forbids WIZZ Gift Vouchers being offered for commercial purposes by you or athird party, especially on internet auctions or other web-based platforms.
6.3. This offer is effective until withdrawal. Customer declares that he/she acknowledges the terms of the present Agreement. Customer further declares that he/she duly informed the Passenger of the terms of the present Agreement and that the Passenger understood and accepted these terms.
6.4. Wizz Air reserves the right of amendment these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Wizz Air shall inform all Customers and Passengers of such amendments on its website(wizzair.com).
6.5. Wizz Air shall not be liable for any damages arising from any kind of misuse of the Wizz Gift Voucher or from its loss or disclosure to anyone other than the Customer and/or Passenger.
6.6. This agreement shall be construed and take effect in all respects in accordance with the Laws of Hungary. Disputes arising out of the present contract shall be primarily settled through discussions between the Contracting Parties.
