Can you cancel your Hawaiian Airlines flight and get a refund?

Can I cancel my Hawaiian Airlines flight?

Do you have a flight with Hawaiian Airlines that you cannot use? Travellers can’t make their trips more often than people think.

Unfortunately, with Hawaiian Airlines, most tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable, unless otherwise specified. Here are the exceptions:

  • For Restricted Refundable fares

    • Refund fee:

      • Neighbor Island: $25

      • North America: $100

      • International: $100

  • Wholly unused tickets: Tickets are valid for transportation for one year from the date of purchase.

  • Partially used tickets: Remaining trip segment tickets are valid for transportation for one year from the date of initial use.

Can I change my Hawaiian Airlines booking?

Yes! Please read below on the terms and fees that apply.

  • If date/flight changes with the same Origin/Destination results in the same fare class are available, no fees will apply. (Free changes to Refundable Fares via Web Check-In and Airport Kiosks are not available at this time).

  • Please see an airport representative (on the day of departure), or call the Hawaiian Airlines Reservations prior to your trip to process your change).

  • If date/flight changes with the same Origin/Destination where original booking class is not available, changes will not be allowed.

  • When making date/flight, reroute, or other changes to a ticket, any difference in fare will be charged to the customer in addition to any change fee. Refund or credit will not be provided if a flight change is made and the new fare is less than the original fare paid.
