You are in luck, TUI allows you to cancel, change or transfer your holiday for a fee. Here we will break down the fee structure and take you through the process of changing or cancelling your TUI booking. 

 

How do I change or cancel my TUI booking?

 

TUI allows both cancellations and changes. If you have booked your holiday on TUI’s website (not through another travel agency) you can go to Manage My Booking in your TUI account to make changes including: cancelling your holiday, changing your holiday, changing the names of the passengers, changing contact details and much more. 

 

If you have booked one of the following holidays, you have to contact TUI directly (over the phone or through their website). You cannot cancel these online through your account. This is because the cancellation rules for these bookings are different. 

 

- Flight only 

- Ski holidays

- Lakes & Mountains holidays

- Twin centre holidays

- Group bookings

- Weddings abroad

- Hotel only bookings

- Package with flights offered by another airline

 

Important Note: If you booked a TUI holiday from a travel agent other than TUI contact the agent directly.

 

How much will it cost to cancel my TUI holiday?

 

If you want to cancel your TUI holiday you must pay a termination fee. The termination fee depends on how many days before the booking you inform TUI of your cancelation. The table below outlines the termination fees:

Important Note: Your deposit is non-refundable and TUI may not be able to refund added elements of your holiday. Once your booking has been cancelled, you can expect to receive a cancellation invoice within 14 days.

Yes, you can also make changes to your TUI booking. You can upgrade a service, add on a flight extra, upgrade a room type or board basis, among other changes. Some changes are free and for some you will need to pay a fee. Check out the table in the section below for all types of change fees.  Unfortunately, you cannot change the dates of your holiday, as this will be treated as a cancellation of your booking. TUI allows you to amend your booking and itinerary by using Manage My Booking in your TUI account. If you need assistance you can contact TUI directly. 

 

How much will it cost to change or transfer my TUI holiday?

 

Amendments to TUI bookings require you to pay an amendment fee that vary by holiday and type of amendment. The table below outlines the amendment fees you must pay to TUI. The TUI customer service representatives will notify you if there are any additional fees.

Important Note: Keep in mind that some parts of your holiday package like activities, transportation, attraction tickets might be non-refundable.

 

Can I sell my TUI holiday to another person? 

 

Do you think that TUI’s cancellation fees are quite high? They will likely resell your holiday, while keeping your deposit and cancellation fees, which is quite unfair. Many people are not aware of this, but you have another option – sell your holiday to another person and get your refund that way. TUI allow you to transfer your holiday in the name of another person. You should contact TUI by email or in writing 7 days or more before the booking. In addition, the person you are transferring the booking to must accept the transfer and TUI’s terms and conditions 7 days or more before the booking to receive the holiday. You will be responsible for paying the amendment fee of £25 per person. There might be additional fees resulting from the change, but the TUI representatives will let you know if this is the case.  To change the names of the passengers on your holiday, you need to contact TUI directly.
